Roslin Cellab is an innovative stem cell biology services company designed to aid the translation of stem cell research into commercially valuable technologies. 

Established by the Roslin Foundation with support from Roslin Cells, Roslin Cellab provides a unique platform to facilitate a wide variety of stem cell investigations. 

Roslin Cellab supports companies and, through collaboration, aims to push the boundaries of stem cell capabilities, driving important developments in stem cell research and regenerative medicine.

About Us

Formed in 2008, Roslin Cellab is a commercial company wholly owned by the Roslin Foundation. Our mission is to assist clients in developing products and services for the stem cell sector by giving them access to both stem cells and stem cell know how.

We work with clients from academia and the life science industry carrying out contract research and co-development work. Being an SME, we are also able to collaborate in European R&D consortia whose funding may come either through the Technology Strategy Board (TSB), European Framework Program or Eurostars program.

Roslin Cellab is located within the Roslin BioCentre, in the village of Roslin just to the south of Edinburgh, Scotland. We are supported by a grant from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
